Stitches West 2013

Each year the Stitches Conference comes to California for knitters and crocheters and is held at the Santa Clara Convention Center & Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, CA.  This year dates are Feb. 24 - 28.

This is a chance to see yarn products from around the world.  Beautiful yarns and elegant patterns to giant needles and hooks.  Really, there are giant hooks and it's amazing to see people working with them.

They hold a great fashion show where you can see the great creations from designers and a number of classes you can take during the week.

One thing you don't want to pass up is the market. Market opens on Fri, Sat and Sun.  The market has vendors like Cascade Yarns, Kollage Yarns, Malabrigo Yarn, Fiesta Yarn and so many more. I will be doing my 2013 yarn shopping here.  Each year I find amazing yarns to work with and the colors this year will be outstanding.

This event only happens once a year on the west coast but know that they are held in the south, midwest and east coast.
