Crochet Cardigan Workshop

Are you ready for the next step? You know the basics of crochet and you made a number of scarves and maybe even a blanket or two.  So know it's time to step it up.

This workshop is for an elegant cardigan that drapes nicely and is for any body type. This will challenge you, yet keep you engaged to finish. And you can finish this.  I've picked a pattern that will allow you to put into place gauging, sizing, and blocking. These are things I'm sure you have wanted to avoid and maybe did not even need them to complete those earlier project. You will need them for this one and I will walk you through.

The next challenge with this pattern will be working with finger weight yarn or possibly sock yarn.  I like to give you options so you won't get scared.  Always options, but I would not go above the weight of sock yarn for this pattern.  So with a thinner yarn you will drop your needle size as well. This is where the gauge comes into place.

There will also be measurements taken so we can get the right size. This pattern is for you, so don't try to fit it to someone else until you have completed this first one. By making this for you, you will learn a great deal about sizing and making adjustments to the pattern.  This will give you the encouragement to make another sweater on your own.

This is a 4 week course so that you will finish this before the holidays. So you want to be ready to set time aside to work on this between or meetings.
