Beginning Crochet - Half Double Crochet
This week we reviewed SC (single crochet) and introduced HDC (half double crochet).

There is a project I would like the class to try. This is a scarf made with SC and HDC.
Pattern: (corrected- there is one chaining turn for SC and there is 2 chaining turns for HDC)
Ch (chain) 25
Row 1: SC to end, ch 1, turn (24 sts)
Row 2: repeat row 1 (10 times) then ch 2
Row 12: HDC to end, ch 2, turn (24 sts)
Row 13: Repeat Row 13 (10 times) then ch 1
**Repeat pattern **
Make this scarf as long as you would like. Remember to COUNT. I look forward to seeing your projects next week.
