Flower Pattern 2

Stash yarn is the perfect yarn to work up flowers. They don't take much yarn and changing colors give the flower more character.  So don't toss the last yard of a particular yarn you purchased.

Here is a fun flower to work up.

Loopy Chain Flower
Row 1: Ch2, Work 4 sc in the second chain from the hook. Join with a slip stitch.  Gently pull the tail to tighten the ring. This round of sc creates a base for the petals. Each petal is made with a loop of change stitches worked into a sc from this round.
Row 2: Ch8. Slip stitch into the first sc.
Row 3: *Ch8. Slip stitch into the next sc, ch8, and then slip stitch into the same sc.
Row 4: Repeat from *to create a total of 8 loopy petals. Slip stitch to join at the base of the first petal.
